The Art Education and Industrial Design programs, launched in October 2024, are designed to prepare students for seamless transfer to Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSUD), offering a clear, accessible pathway to earn their bachelor’s degrees in these fields.
The Industrial Design degree is particularly unique—it is the only community college program in Colorado that transfers directly to the state’s sole four-year Industrial Design program. This distinction presents a significant opportunity to attract prospective students interested in pursuing a creative career with a strong design focus while taking advantage of the affordability and accessibility of a community college.
The Art Education degree is equally impactful, providing students with a foundation to transfer and pursue careers as art educators, helping to meet the growing need for qualified art teachers in schools.
