The event will help freshmen students learn how to network better and include workshops focusing on the do's and don'ts of social media, effective communication skills, financial literacy, and tips to strengthen scholarship applications!
Students will have the opportunity to engage with Latina mentors to help inspire and prepare themselves for those same professions, “Girls Can Be What They Can See”.
This event is an interactive program which helps young Latinas fill their toolboxes with practical and practiced skill sets. Students will be provided with tips and techniques for networking and interviewing, and have the opportunity to put those tips to work right away.
Additional workshops include:
• Tell your story and strengthen college scholarship applications.
• Do’s and don’ts of social media and financial literacy.
• Communicate with impact and understanding your value.
When? Saturday, February 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
