CCD is introducing a Literary Magazine class for the first time in Fall 2025 to help with the production of Ourglass in tandem with the Design Studio, covering the production of a literary magazine through skill building and collaboration.
This course introduces the editorial process involved in preparing a literary magazine for publication, including soliciting submissions; selecting material for publication (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, visual art, and other genres, such as drama); preparing a manuscript for publication, including design, layout, and pre-press production; and marketing the final product.
