In case you missed the email announcing CCD’s move to ID badge building access, here’s what you need to know! For more information, visit ccd.edu/buildingaccess.
Obtain your CCD ID Badge:
o Visit the Student ID Center in Tivoli Student Union (Suite 269) if you do not have an existing one.
o Bring a government-issued ID and a copy of your semester schedule.
Lost or Stolen Badges:
1. Deactivate your badge by calling Access Control at 303-556-4296.
2. Obtain a replacement badge for $24 at the Student ID Center in Tivoli Student Union (Suite 269).
Important Dates:
September 2 - October 1 | During this "reduced entry" phase, select entry points in most buildings will not require a badge. This window offers you the opportunity to become familiar with the new badge access system.
Starting October 2 | All campus buildings will be classified as open, limited entry, or badge access only. Access to "badge access only" buildings will require a CCD badge.
The following buildings will remain open until October 2:
Confluence – Front entrance facing the Holly parking lot (only entrance available after Oct. 2).
Cherry Creek – Main entrance closest to the roundabout on St. Francis Way and Champa Street.
Boulder Creek – Main entrance on 10th Street Plaza.
The ID Station located in the Tivoli Student Union (Suite 269) will have extended hours starting September 5 through October 6.
ID Station Extended hours:
Mon.-Thurs. 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sunday CLOSED
Regular ID services that will resume on Monday, Oct. 9:
Mon. – Thurs. 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sat. & Sun CLOSED
Where are the ID badge scanners located and what do they look like?
The card reader locates either on the bottom of the handicap button or on the side of metal column.
