Downtown Denver Partnership Events & Happenings

  1. Open Call for Involvement | DDP wants to hear from you! Is there an organization you think the Partnership needs to learn more about, be more involved with, or have our voice heard within? If so, please reach out to Britt Diehl (bdiehl@downtowndenver.com). We want to be well versed and well represented and we cannot do it without the help of you.

  2. Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Team Retreat | We’re looking for a place to host our Leadership Team Retreat! If you’ve got a space for 20 people and might be willing to host our team for some fun and learning in January, please reach out to me.

DDP EVENTS + HAPPENINGS

  1. Downtown Denver Ice Rink | November 20 | Join us on the ice in Skyline Park at 4pm on Monday, November 20 for the first day of the season We’ll have music, complimentary skating, and lots of fun!

  2. Parade of Lights | December 2 | Don’t miss out on our biggest event of the season!

  3. Co.Starters Holiday Party | December 5 | Help us celebrate recent graduates, talk up the program to new entrepreneurs, and learn about opportunities for involvement. Join in this free event at the DDP office (1515 Arapahoe Street) from 6-9pm. Invite attached.

  1. Dynamic Downtown Denver | Applications are now open for the Dynamic Downtown Denver grant program. Mayor Mike Johnston, the Partnership, and Denver Arts & Venues announced the new grant program to help enliven public spaces downtown. With individual grants between $500 and $25,000, the program empowers individuals, businesses, and community groups to create fun, neighborhood-driven experiences in our center city. Anyone can apply; help spread the word!

  2. 2024 Downtown Denver Leadership Program (DDLP) | Are you or one of your colleagues interested in joining the DDLP class of 2024? Applications will open mid-November. Please contact Sarah Fritzinger (sfritzinger@downtowndenver.com) if you are interested in applying for or sponsoring the program.

EXTERNAL ENTERTAINMENT

  1. Holiday Festivities Downtown | November 17 – December 31 | The Christkindl Market will be held in Civic Center Park (November 17 – December 23) alongside the Mile High Tree (November 17 – December 31). You also don’t want to miss the 91st Annual Light the Lights Event at Civic Center or the Grand Illumination (November 24) with special activities at Union Station beginning at 5pm.

  2. Cherry Creek and Speer Boulevard Vision Open House | November 30 | From 4-6pm at the Commons on Champa (1245 Champa Street), this open house will help spread the word about the latest updates on the project and will be an opportunity to conduct preliminary analysis and solicit public feedback that will help create a vision for the future. For those unable to attend in person, there will be an interactive version on the webpage.

  3. Museum for Black Girls | With the help of DDP’s Popup Denver program, Museum for Black Girls has officially opened its doors! Located at 500 16th Street, the museum is a vibrant and interactive space that celebrates Black girls and women’s stories and achievements. Plan your visit today!

  4. 39th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Business Awards | January 12 | Help recognize businesses in support of social responsibility by joining hands with community members dedicated to corporate cultural consciousness. Click here to reserve your seats.

  5. Leven at Block 162 | Great news! Block 162 signed a lease for 6,600 SF with the team at Leven Deli Co. for a new concept!
